We have built an exemplary safety record with consistent 'Satisfactory' rating - the highest rating - awarded by the California Highway Patrol and "1" rating, the highest rating awarded by the US Department of Defense. We operate more than 1,000 annual motorcoach trips for local schools for a variety of their after-school activities, sports and athletic programs, outings and field trips, and recognize that safety is uppermost in the minds of the parents, faculty and administrators. We have a spot-less record transporting hundreds of thousands of school children. For El Camino Charters, Safety begins with selection and training of our Motor Coach Drivers. Our Drivers at El Camino Charters have achieved SPAB (School Pupil Activity Bus) certification, one of the most stringent safety and certification standards in the State of California. Regular, scheduled maintenance of its motor coaches is another key factor in El Camino’s exemplary safety record. With an in-house staff of experienced coach maintenance personnel, El Camino Charters is able to pro-actively stay on top of the maintenance requirements for its motor coaches. El Camino Charters’ maintenance staff undertakes the routine 45-day California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) self-inspection and has been lauded by the CHP for our unblemished track record. Other Charter Bus companies have also recognized our outstanding maintenance service program and rely on El Camino Charters for their CHP inspections and maintenance and repair of their motor coach fleets. We provide maintenance, repair and inspection services to more than a dozen charter bus companies in the San Francisco Bay area. |

Whether we are transporting corporate clients, school children for their field trips, tour groups for their outings, or helping Amtrak passengers make their train connections, or doing an airport transfer, El Camino Charters recognizes that on-time service delivery is of paramount importance to our passengers. El Camino Charters Dispatch and Operations Center maintains contact in real-time with all of its Driver Professionals and is in a position to respond to any events to ensure on-time service delivery. With its large fleet of motor coaches, El Camino Charters is able to dispatch a back-up vehicle at a moment’s notice if needed due to mechanical issues or clogged roadways. For most of the trips we undertake, we are able to provide a 2-hour Minimum-Time-To-Repair/Replace (MTTR) for our motor coaches. |
